To me family photographs are more than an assortment of images because each picture is a time capsule that documents a moment in time from the lives of our ancestors. Each photograph is full of information and if properly identified can tell a story of a lifetime or the history of a family. Family photographs can also provide clues for further genealogical research not found in any standard genealogical resource.
